Ideal for checking areas that are difficult to view or access. Portable security inspection mirrors have become a common sight on TV dramas, where they employed as a means of seeing under cars where bombs are suspected and around corners to identify snipers in tower blocks. In real life, however, they are used by security guards, police officers, army personnel and anti-bomb squads. They are an ideal means of inspecting difficult or dangerous areas, such as under vehicles, plant and machinery and are perfect for everyday use in production areas, commercial buildings, public sector buildings, military bases, police stations, hospitals and port security areas. Manufactured in Germany, the mirrors are constructed of light and durable acrylic, with an aluminium telescopic handle which extends from 1m to 2m. The convex mirrored surface allows for wide-angled viewing and the product is supplied with a fleece-lined bag to protect it when not in use. There are actually two products, a hand-held mirror and a larger wheeled version. Either can be used to reflect light in awkward or dangerous places, thereby providing indirect illumination, but they can also be customised with a clip on torch to provide direct illumination.
