- Provision of a safe location to store keys and other activation devices during maintenance or repair.
- Once equipment has been isolated and made safe, any keys or other activating equipment can be stored safely in a lockbox to prevent accidental re-energisation.
- Multiple padlocks can be affixed to the Lockbox which all must be removed before gaining access to the contents.
