What different Key Cabinets are there?

There are a range of different key cabinets, from the standard key cabinet to a more advanced vault, safe or electronic locking system:

Standard Key Cabinets

How to lock/open my key cabinet?

After inserting the batteries, enter either the Personal or Master codes then ‘Lock’ to lock the cabinet. To lock the cabinet, close the door and press ‘Lock’ and the door will automatically lock, and the display with show closed.

? If you attempt to lock the safe by entering a code and then ‘Lock’, the display will show error

What are the default and master codes for the key cabinet?

Our key cabinets have 2 user codes: Master and Personal. The Master default code is 8 8 8 8 8 8 and Personal Code is 1 2 3 4 5 6.

I can’t open the key cabinet using the keypad. What should I do?

If you are unable to open the key safe using the keypad, remove the cover plate at the bottom of the circular keypad to use the supplied emergency key where indicated.

? Do not store your emergency key inside the safe!

My lock will only open on the 5th or 6th attempt. Why is this?

This is usually because of low power, it means its time to replace the batteries.

How do I change the code of my electronic lock?

This will depend on the lock, full instructions are available via the manufacturer.

When should I replace the batteries on my electronic key cabinet?

If the door does not open despite entering the correcting code, seeing a constant LED and hearing a melodic tone, this indicated that the battery output is not strong enough and should be replaced with new AA alkaline batteries.
